잘 지내고 계신가요? 한국학중앙연구원 한국학대학원의 2019년도 후기 외국인 및 재외국민 입학전형 관련 메일드립니다. 연구원의 봄은 벚꽃과 함께, 그리고 대학원 석/박사 과정 입학지원과 함께 찾아온답니다.
I hope you are well. I’m writing to inform you of the graduate recruitment for 2019 fall semester – Spring is a season of not only cherry blossoms at the AKS, but also of application for a master’s or doctoral degree program.
학사 학위를 소지하고 TOPIK 4급 이상의 한국어 실력이 있는, 무엇보다 한국학에 대해 진지한 관심과 열정을 가진 외국인 학생이면 지원 가능합니다. 저희 대학원의 외국인 학생에 대한 혜택은 다음과 같습니다:
International students are very welcome to apply if they have a bachelor’s degree, Korean language proficiency equivalent to or higher than TOPIK level 4, and most importantly genuine interest in Korean studies. These are some examples of what our international students enjoy:
- 외국인 학생 전원 등록금 면제
Tuition fees are fully waived for all international students.
- 입학 성적 우수자에게 국비장학금 지급 – 1년간 석사 월50만원, 박사 월75만원 (평가 후 연장 가능), 수혜율 53.5%
53.5% of international students benefit from the Government Grant. – Monthly stipend of 500,000KRW (for master’s degree students) or 750,000KRW (for doctoral degree students) is provided for a year, renewable upon evaluation.
- 아시아 출신 후기 입학생 3명에게 포스코아시아펠로집 장학금 지급 (2년간 월 100만원)
Every year 3 Asian students are selected as POSCO Asia Fellows and provided with monthly stipend of 1,000,000KRW for 2 years.
- 교수 1명당 학생 6명의 비율로 소수 정예 교육 실시
A 6:1 student-faculty ratio enables close one-on-one guidance of students by professors.
- 폭넓은 본원 연구과제 참여 기회 – 외국인 박사과정 학생 20% 참여
Students are encouraged to participate in the AKS’ research projects and 20% of our international students in a doctoral degree program worked as RAs in 2018.
- 학문 목적의 한국어 교육 무료 제공
Korean language courses specifically designed for academic purposes are provided free of charge.
- 저렴한 기숙사비 : 학기당(6개월간) 2인실 543,000원
On-campus dormitory accommodations are available at the rate of 543,000KRW per semester (six months), double occupancy.
온라인 입학지원서(www.aks.ac.kr/admission)는 5. 7.(화) 17:00(한국시간)까지 입력 가능합니다.
Online application(www.aks.ac.kr/admission) is open until 17:00(KST) 7 May.
